Iv'e just opened a pack of minced steak which i took from the freezer 2 days ago. It's been in the fridge but it looks a bit brown! Is it safe to eat ?
yep this question was answered only a few days ago, as i said either dry fry and use for tonights meal, or freeze for another time, and the best answer is smell it and if doesnt smell right bin it!!!
sorry to argue the toss on this, but I need to mention that if you re-freeze meat thawed at room temp you are looking at food poisoning when you use it. Only refreeze if it's always been in the fridge.
