Fish fingers and oven chips, those little round pizzas you buy about 10 in a bag like a tower, normally just cheese and tomato being famous cos that's what ninja turtles ate, anything over processed and probably regurgetated and slapped into another food product, turkey dinosaurs, smiley faces, micro pizzasa, chips, pizza rollas, etc. I might just remember these cos I was a kid in the 80's so I'm not sure if they're 80's food. Crisp and dry. Those piggy crisps that were hollow and in the shape of crisps, and fish and chip shaped crisps that were supposed to be nice but tasted like cardboard. Oh my God, what an unhealthy child I was.
LOL
I think I should congratulate myself! For info tho, I'm very health conscious now! But it's no wonder I was such a chubby kid! Thanks mum and dad ;D
Ooooh, I remember them changing the name from Marathon to Snickers so there's another.
80s food just reminds me of overprocessed crap tbh. Pot noodles, super noodles, instant mash, micro burgers, chips, pizzas, etc.
It's ok everyone, the hedgehog crisps were actually flavoured with pork fat. Not hedgehogs were harmed in the making of hedgehog crisps.
Those 'eyeball' bubble gums you got from the ice cream man, and long tubes of bubble gum in different colours that went tacky really quickly. Also, I can't remember if they were chews or bubble gum but they (little 'millions' sized sweeties) came in like a baby sized milk carton and you could get tropical punch, strawberry milkshake, Cola etc.
Ok, it's still me.... lots of other people must remember stuff surely.
(it's my first day back at work after my holiday and I can't get into it!)
Bubble gum coming in lots of shapes and sizes, tapes, toothpaste like tubes.
Those sweets that tasted lilke chalk I think they were called tib tabs or something and you had cartoon character heads on them. The sweets came in tiny packets and you filled a plastic tube with them, when you lifted or pushed the cartoon head the sweets came out the bottom.
