BBQ chicken, baked potato and salad!
I am about to make mine, and it will probably be veg sausages, wheat-free pasta and tomato sauce. Bleeee.
What happened to the word "dinner" for an evening meal?
I just had mine... Steak and sweetcorn
Haha fat robert, that made me laugh.

I had chish 'n' fips and mushy peas.

janoel - normal people call the midday meal dinner or lunch and the evening meal is definitely tea.
Chips, cod and peas. Yummy!
Indiesinger Dinner is not at midday it is after 8pm! Tea is between 5 and 8pm. Janoel is correct.
JHUST BEEN DOWN THE PUBIN CANARY WHARF NOW HAVING JAMBALAYA
You have dinner at midday-ish and tea in the evening. Everybody knows that.
Thanks, **********, for agreeing with me, even if you do have a strange name.
The asterisked word should have said, "craclwhore".
No it shouldn't - it should have said, "crackwhore".
In fact supper is the evening meal. I never use the word "tea" except when I'm drinking it... Don't mean to offend anyone but my parents taught me that using that word for anything other than cake and boiled eggs in the afternoon was very common.
Ooh, get you!
Common is good enough for me. Proud to be common and have my tea at night - anytime at night! *GAB* Indie, x
Laura Sakura Totally agree with you. For example, I have read that the Queen has the meal called tea - ie sandwiches, cakes and scones about 4 pm the meal called "tea" and then the evening meal which is "dinner" - probably about 8 pm. I don't know how someone can refer to "steak and chips" (for example)as tea!
