my bfriend is wanting to start cooking in the new year good tasty healthy meals and is looking for a good cookbook or two. Plus one that includes kid friendly receipes!
One of my favourites is "Real Fast Food " by Nigel Slater...it is a classic......he makes my mouth water, and all the recipes can be done in 30 minutes. Don't have kids...but Annabel Karmel has written a number of kid-friendly books.
delia smith's ' complete cookery course' is great, foolproof recipes and easy to follow instructions. i would think her latest 'cheats' is also pretty good, using lots of ready-made ingredients.
Id recommend 101 cheap eats, its a BBC book, part of the Good food magazine range. The title is a bit of a misnomer though because until youve built up your store cupboard its not necessarily cheap!
Good for inspiration & building up your repertoire of dishes though.
