Just recently back from holiday in florida, stayed in a villa so always made sure the fridge was well stocked with beer, which consisted of bud light, bud select, busch light.
The beer over there is so much better than the junk over here i.e carling, carlsberg etc, but why?

betterman - you must be joking! If it is your preference to drink this type of 'beer' then so be it but you are missing out on a whole taste experience by not drinking real ale or stout. Have a try of some of the real bottled beers like Hobgoblin, Marston's, Old Peculier and you'll wonder what you thought you tasted in the yellow stuff. Cheers, Andy
Well what you're calling beer I wouldn't - I'd call it lager! I'm with ACB312 - try some real ale. But there are plenty of American and American style lagers over here if that's what you're really into. Try Becks or Peroni.
The beer over there is so much better than the junk over here - So you prefer fizzy water with colouring then!?!?!?
What does American beer & making love in a canoe have in common?

They're both 'king close to water:-)
The only good beer I found in Florida was what they serve in the hospitality place at Seaworld and Busch Gardens both owned by Anneheuser Busch (Budweiser) and the only reason I say it was good because it comes free!!!!
