Am I right in remembering lime flavour Angel Delight in the 1970`s? It was a pale green colour.

Yes, I can remember it, at school I made a cheese cake in a cookery class with Lime flavoured angel delight as the topping, ate it 'all' when walking home, was really sick, hence... not touched it since
that sounds absolutely disgusting! Rather like the lime-flavoured Kit Kat they've just brought out. You'd have to pay me to try that!
I remember it too - don't spose they still make it do they?
It was vile beyond belief. I used to love butterscotch before I became as sophisticated as I am now!
Mmmm, butterscotch - my favourite (with Lime 2nd). I think it's fair to say I don't have a particularly sophisticated palate!
My Mum used to make a chocolate digestive flan case and pour in either the lime or butterscotch flavour before adding Dream Topping!!  This was very cutting edge in its time. ;-)
Green Angel Delight was my all time favourite back in the late '70s. My Auntie Janet who was my childminder used to give me it and I loved it so much she still talks about it. A sad culinary loss. The nearest I got to the flavour was when Crusha milkshakes brought special edition Lime flavour out for a short phase but that is gone too. Does anyone remember mixed fruit Frys Cream bars- every chunk a different flavour. There were lime strips in those, along with green lime Opal fruits as well. I lime-nt the loss of them all but my green Angel Delight most of all.
