I was given two lovely sirloins today - really good quality. However, hubby and I are trying to drop a bit of weight so does anyone have any idea how I could prepare them without frying them in butter, and downing them with a plate of homemade chips( the way I usually do them)??Thankyou

Brush them with a little oil - pop them under a hot grill, turning them once, until they are done to your liking.

Serve with some green veg, or some salad.
And a small baked/jacket potato or some boiled potatos with just a tiny knob of butter.

Thanks everyone. I have a griddle pan, so I think I'll do them on it, and we'll have green beans with jacket spuds, might even make a wee bit of onion gravy!
poppins you dont have to put anything them,just grill with rock salt and pepper if liked!!!
