Nice//different/not too pricey!!!

Hey guys, I want to take my girlfriend out to eat for her birthday this sat. The thing is I'm new to Manchester and dont know many places. I was hoping somebody on here might be able to help me out with somewhere thats a bit different, somewhere thats nice, and not to pricey either. If you've had any good experiences anywhere, or have maybe heard about anywhere thats been reccomended, I would be greatful to hear about them.

My favourite is The Lime Tree in Didsbury.It's not overly expensive but is lovely for a birthday treat. You may struggle to get a table at such short notice though. Hope you find somewhere nice.
