what is the ultimate sandwich filling

Chicken, sweetcorn, crispy bacon and mayo in a white baguette. Harvey's in Oxford used to do this to perfection!

For me - pure & simple - egg mayonnaise & crispy bacon on as large a bread product as can be found at the time (but preferably either granary or multi-grain)

For Mr Saffstar - Tesco Smoked Ham & Mustard on white - �1.05 of hammy, mustardy goodness.

 sweet solution....peanutbutter blackcurrant jam and thinly sliced marsbar and sliced banana..on  crusty thickly sliced white bread

i don't personally agree with this but some scientists did an experiment for "the perfect sandwich" and it's some kind of cheese and pickle sandwich but you need the quantities just right. Also, you have 2 eat it sitting on a park bench as apparently this makes it taste better (?)
