When my mother makes rock cakes they are a nice pyramid shape before she puts them in the oven but flat when she takes them out. She never used to have this problem and wonders if any of you cooking experts can tell her what she's probably doing wrong?

Thanks, yes, it finally occurred to me to try the www and, of course, I came across lots of recipes including this one! From what I passed on to my Ma she's ever more convinced she's been using too much milk. She'll try again in a week or 10 days and I'll report back here on how it comes out.
