Potatoes
15 Answers
Does anyone have any particular recommendations? I know the debates about supermarkets vs local grocers, etc, but I have little choice. I have found Tesco "Exquisa" potatoes to be absolutely gorgeous. Expensive, around 10p per potato, but with a dab of salad cream absolutely wonderful. I have given up on Jersey Royals which in recent years have become increasingly bland.

I could have just gone to bed early and taken the next best potato choice, but instead I chose to seek advice, and what did I get - FCUK ALL!
You load of prissy jessies, probably all homosexuals I wouldn't be surprised. No wonder I rarely ask questions on here if the best I get is a load of limp-wristed effeminate ********.

Agree about the Jerseys - apparently thye used to use seaweed as a fertiliser but aren't allowed to any more (<ore EU CR@P?)
We tend to stick to Desiree for boiled and have been experimenting with different kinds of mash - stir in Parsley pesto to go with fish, cheddar to go on fish pie, Haggis beaten in is very tasty, sage and onion gravy to go with sausages..........
