You make me laugh.

If I've cooked a joint I'll use the juices (minus the fat) and add the stock from veggies when I've had a chicken I'll make chicken stock from the carcass and use that and thicken with cornflour or oridinary floor if I can't find the cornflour cook it and voila it's done.

Gravy granules are quite fatty and I can't tolerate them
or add what is left of the yorkshire pudding mix.

did i mention

There I was thinking you were serious - think you're taking the mickey out of me.... never mind - I can forgive you - the pineapple advice takes away all ....

I vaguely remembered that there was some clever, cullinary, way of making gravy that didn't involve a kettle and a cardboard carton from Waitrose, but hey ...

... distant memories and all that.

One of my friends was sent to finishing school. She can probably make proper gravy.

Whenever I'm with her, we're usually too trolleyed to think about ... say ... gravy ...

... so I may never find out.

She's a fab skier, though.

Now, where's my shopping list. I don't want to run out of gravy granules.

stir plain flour into roast sediment; some veg fluid to thin. heat slowly to thicken & add more fliud/beer to increase gravy.

Finish off with browning/marmite to color.
NoK ... Beef and Chicken cover all needs.

Tambo ...

1. Stir boiling water into measuring bowl of granules.

2. The End
