Preparing turkey for cooking

Is it safe to prepare turkey (no stuffing) and wrap in foil 36 hours before cooking? To be kept in fridge if it fits, in cellar if not. Will foil react with raw turkey? Any tips welcome

meb,,yes the turkey will be fine kept either in the fridge or if neccesary the cellar as long as you dont have mice down their,,the foil will be fine if you are really worried then wrap a tea towel round the turkey then the foil,,dont forget to remove the tea towel though before cooking,,,happy xmas,,,gypsy
