Retro nibbles

I am trying to think of a few retro nibbles to serve up for a bit of a laugh when friends come over next weekend.
I was thinking of pineapple and cheese on cocktail sticks stuck into a grapefruit and of course vol-au-vents but I'm trying to think of others.
Any ideas anyone?

The prawn sandwich with mayo was quite in vogue (I'd forgotten about the asparagus rolls, thank you tamborine!)

Oh i did some angel delight for my 5 year old daughter the other day! I loved it as a kid! She turned her nose up? i had even crushed an oreo biscuit on it!! She wanted a bakewell tart instead. Kids of today!?!

Its a date looby....swirly maxi dress for me, with a beaded headband....and i'll be wearing patchouli oil perfume...lol

well i was toying with the yello capri with the black roof .... (gawdd mt dad had one of them lol ... and then a gold one!!) or the austin ...
i plumped for the austin cus ive just had new furry seat covers fitted with matching furry dice - im easy, both are stunning beauties out on the road - very eye catching i must say.
i will be wearing a dap of my my avons sweet honesty, cream perfume, behind the ears, hope it doesnt clash with your patchouli oil!

What a lot of responses to a rather insignificant question - I suspect it brought back memories for a few!

Isn't it strange how many of those 70s snacks were cheese-related?!
