The vintage designs such as 'Snowflake' can't be put in the dishwasher because the detergent and high temp will ruin the pattern and take off any gold finish that the design might have.
I presume the more modern types are fine to put in the dishwasher but I am always a bit wary with Pyrex as it can shatter at very high temperatures and when it shatters it can break into very tiny sharp shards (I used to think it was unbreakable). I don't know what the manufacturer claims.
