If I follow my 1400 calorie diet to the letter, then I can have my little treat with a cup of tea in the evening. Obviously truffles are quite high in calories but knowing they're waiting for me helps me resist the office sweetie machine or biscuit tin.
I've been really impressed by www.weightlossresources.co.uk where you are set a calorie limit and can add in foods from they're huge database. You need to subscribe but it's not expensive and you get a 3 day trial first!
another tip if you really need a chocolate fix is to buy really dark chocolate, that 60% stuff is good. Keep it in teh freezer, out of reach, broken into small squares (in a container obviously ^_^). when you feel the urge, go in and grap one or two. because it's so dark you won't need as much to get the hit you want and also it's hard to eat as much because it has such a stong taste.
Good luck!
I have a really sweet tooth and find the following useful. Freeze a low fat chocolate mousse, it takes ages to eat and is yum. Iced Gems, only about 100 cals and really nice. Sugar free jelly made up with half boiled water (to mix it initially) and then topped up with sugar free strawberryade/cherryade etc. At night i also snack on dry cereal or mini snack a jacks but the jelly is a real life saver for me. WeightWatchers.co.uk also have a great online forum you can join for free and everyone swaps hints/tips etc. Good Luck and hope this helps.
