Hmm, Wikipedia seems to claim that most retail soft drinks do not contain dandelion and burdock extracts or flavouring derived from the plants. As a lover of the drink myself, I've found that in most cases, the flavouring is indeed natural.

For the sceptics out there, I'd like to introduce you to a curious fact. Have you noticed that over the past few months, most supermarket 2 litre soft drink ("pop") bottles have a cap that's been reduced in height? I've heard many complaints from elderly people saying that they cannot grip the caps properly since the cap has reduced in size. However, be that as it may, take a look at the tops of supermarket own-brand D&B bottles. You'll notice that they all use the full height cap.
So why is this? Well it seems that its not easy to manufacture D&B pop and nearly all of it is bottled by Barrs. The company insists on using the full height cap when bottling it under the retailers own name despite protestations from the retailers. Barrs have told supermarkets that if they want the product, they'll bottle it their way. All Barrs D&B does contain either D&B extracts or the natural flavouring.

still makes soft drinks in the original botanically brewed way(without additives etc)
According to the site, their Dandelion & Burdock DOES still contain dandelion leaves and burdock root extract.
They also make a botanic lemonade flavoured with Bulgarian Rose Oil, it's magnificent!
