Cheese?

Dont really like cheese on crackers or sarnies but love cheese cooked, anyone suggest a good flavoursome cheese,just use the usual cathedral city but would like to try something different

have you tried baking camembert with some garlic and wine and then dipping bread into it, its lush

my fave cheese of the moment though has to be stinking bishop but i've not cooked with it

Hi mcfuff saw tamsin day lewis making a stinking bishop ice cream disgusting!
Melted Brie and bacon in a jacket potato - delicious !
not sure i'd like it as an icecream. i do have to ration myself when i get hold of it though.

in fact i must make an excuse to go to the shrewsbury office soon......

mccfluff does it really smell as bad as they say?
not at all and its tastes divine, its got a real silky smooth texture to it, oh i really really want some now :-(
i just love roqufort cheese and could eat a whole pack of it. it too is smooth and silky so must have a go at stinking bishop..
imho if you want a cheese to cook with, it has to be red leicester every time

I find red leicester rather tasteless
Try chicken stuffed with loads of Emmental and the wrapped in parma/serrano ham and cooked in the oven for 20-25 mins at 200C - yummy
