all home made from scratch:

Aberdeen angus steak, and onion pie with flaky golden melt-in-the-mouth pastry, a pile of buttery spuds and wilted greens - Caramel sponge with a liquid toffee/chocolate centre and cream for pud

OR

Chicken breasts with smoked bacon, baby onions and wild mushrooms in a delicious white wine sauce, baby new potatoes, chantenay carrots and fine green beans, followed by a lemony raspberry cheesecake

OR

Venison casserole with red wine and red currant jelly, spring onion and parsley dumplings, medley of winter veg - Apple pie for pud

OR

Greek style lamb, with a lemon, rosemary and garlic crust, served with savoury potatoes and salad
fresh fruit trifle

OR

Tipsy pork - thick huge pork steaks served with a calvados (apple brandy) cream sauce, with crispy golden roast potatoes, cabbage and carrots - peach mousse cake with whipped cream for pud

oh slight problem i don't do mushrooms (dead slugs) cooked tomatoe's slimey things mushy food or anything that wobbles
I will take them all except for the meat pie!!!!

Mercia I have just made your sauce for my chicken tomorrow. Smells yummy!!

The only thing I changed is the Jack Daniels as I discovered my son had drank it all off, so I used white rum, 100% proof!

willing to share your receipe for caramel pud, or at least point me in the direction? pretty please with jam on top!!!!!
If i had to have the main and the pud it would be the pork but my fav main and pud is the chicken, with caramel sponge, is that allowed.

Hmm....somebody's been at my trifle sponges I made...okay folks, trifle is off - banoffee pie instead - on a ginger biscuit base, thick caramel, sliced bananas, whipped cream and chocolate shapes to decorate
is the chicken with the caramel sponge allowed?
that would be a yes thats a no lol
