I know Mccfluff won't like the beautiful best minced steak lasagne I've made using a tomato sauce made with tomatoes from my own greenhouse (bottled last year) I roasted them with a drop of best olive oil, then pulped them down and cooked them with onions, garlic, red wine and fresh basil and oregano. Layered with fresh homemade pasta sheets, and a creamy bechamel sauce, covered with a thick layer of four grated cheeses, baked until golden, served with garlic bread (homemade of course, and a crisp garden salad.

I've been making sausages, There is: Pork with, sweet chili and garlic, pork with smoked bacon and garlic, pork with chestnuts, pork with sage and apples, OR Lamb with rosemary and soft apricots, lamb with cinnamon and prunes, beef with guinness and mushrooms, beef with curry spices. You could have any of those with creamy mash and onion gravy, and greens
OR
A homecured gammon steak, with pineapple or fried egg, new potatoes and salad or vegetables
Puddings are: Raspberry and coconut sponge with velvety smooth custard, fresh fruit flan with whipped cream, or Lemon and lime meringue pie
let me know what you want!!

I normally like Jaimie Oliver too - but I never follow anybody's recipes, i make my own up - there are very few chef's /cooks I do like - I like Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, Jamie Oliver and Clarissa Dickson Wright, Rose Gray (Bless her) Madhur Jaffrey and Claudia Roden - that's about it. You can stick Marco and Gordon where the sun don't shine. If gordon ramsey spoke to me the way he does to his staff, I'd have his bloody tripes out in a second with my no.5 Sabatier boning knife before he could say f*ck off!
I've always found that you get more and better out of people of you don't shout at them, but if somebody REALLY needs pulling into line, do it in private, not bawl and shout in front of everybody - to me that really only shows your own short-comings
