Talk about being quiet, mys sister and I went to the millennium (sp?) dome in 2000 and went into a funny room with music playing that would not repeat itself for a 1,000 yrs. It was quiet and eerie music a bit like I imagine whales droning would be like. Well it was all slopes and ledges, and we got the giggles trying to balance on a slope, we had to leave it was horrid!
Oh Gawd an inquest .Do we have to show our AB platinum cards ?
Has IAP flounced again ? Tut I miss all the fun .He answered his thread about Great British Railways Journeys though which I posted on so that was sudden .
I've been in to see my neighbour who is 84 today ,bless, and she plied me with drink !
Of course I couldn't be rude and say no ......
I'm sorry to hear you are still under par Robinia and I do hope Charlie will be alright .

Oh Lord ..he's throwing his rattle around about about cakes ? Silly old duffer .
It's OK ..I'm just catching up on the goss whilst breezing round Marks looking for trews for Mr S .
Someone bake him an Iboprufen cake .I'm sure he's got shares in it :)
I took my neighbour some Thorntons chocs and she sent me back with a half a bottle of scotch . Hahaa ...She's a dear old duck .She's bedridden .Osteoporosis and her ankles have gone but she's so cheerful all time .I'd be climbing the walls by now stuck in one room of the house all day but she does everything from her bed ( she has carers of course ) and the place is immaculate .

Had a lovely meal today a sizzling something beginning with D. Mushrooms, onions, peppers and and saffron rice. Then when I got home my sister called to see if I wanted to walk and we went up the footpath which used to be a canal to Swarkestone and back. Almost 2 hours we were out it was lovely.
Robi I really hope you feel better soon and Charlie also. It must be very worrying for you. I called at a friend's today and her relation was there with her little KC called Toby. She tells me that she cannot be made to take him out of a public house because he's a King's dog. Is that true. He was a friendly little dog and I really took to him.

Ooh yes Jude
Apparently there's a law which is still on the statute book that the King Charles pooch has carte blanche to go wherever he likes .
"The royal name, 'King Charles Spaniel' was bestowed during the reign of King Charles II, who was so fond of his spaniels he could not be parted from them. He made a decree that King Charles Spaniels must be allowed in any public place, including the House of Parliament. This decree is still in the law books today"
I do love a bit of trivia :))

The link that jno was removed because it was Invictus trying to get back in with another name.
I never did get out for a walk today in the end. It was lovely, but really cold here and my ribs are still quite sore. So I mooched around all day and spent too much time on AB. I haven't got to cook tonight. Mr LL has been taken out for a meal in London and only wants a sandwich when he gets back in.
I have wretched eczema between my fingers on my right hand and it is driving me bananas. It kept me awake last night. That and the fact that I had nighmares - one of them being that I had grown about 15" of thick grey hair all over my lower legs and was trying to cut it off with scissors!!!
I wouldn't mind, but I have never in my life had hairy legs, even when I shaved them there were just a few little fair hairs!!
I am going mad!!

Oh haha, I'd forgotten all about that KC law...there'd be some jobsworth who'd argue otherwise if I tried it. When I had Mac laws weren't quite so strict & I'd take him to the papershop or off licence (leave it). I taught him to sit & wait quietly but the trouble was he'd sit down just two steps inside the doorway & block it ...and he wouldn't move until he saw me paying for my things, hahaha
It's a lovely calm evening here, clear sky, crescent moon & stars

Thanks Lottie - Have read that thread and I'm pleased I'm just a simple Biddy here with my Biddyfriends. That was a weird nightmare Lottie. I don't have bad dreams very often thank goodness.
Thanks Shaney for the info about King Charles's very interesting.
So Robi if I see a little KC sitting in Birds I shall just stand at the door and shout 'Hiya Robi' :o)
