am going to use one tonight for chicken, can I put the potatoes in with the chicken and will they brown, cos if I have to put them in seperately it's not worth using the bag!

I did that quiz a while ago woofy...I'm mentally 41 which was better than 14 which I was expecting :o)

lovely day now, I might potter outside for half an hour, I don't think I can be bothered to rearrange myself well enough to be seen in public.

Afternoon all, just checking, have no time to read posts, had to meet an old friend who had just arrived, had to go to Ibiza town to do the weekly shop as it's a fiesta here in Sta Eulalia, everything closed. Taken hija to airport (she and a friend are going to Barca for 2 days - heaven help Barca!). put dark streaks in my hair, trying desperately to tidy the house, and then have to iron my clothes for tonight (going to a "do") and I never wear full finery it's just not me! Hoping to put m,7y feet up asap cos I am shattered!!!

Hope each and every biddie and biddymates and pets are OK!

Type Your Answer Here.......and I also had to sew on 24 small buttons onto hija's new blouse as they were loose!!
Morning Allbiddies everywhere. My mental age is 38 according to that test. I'll never grow up will I :o)
Been to see my nephew play in a semi final football match and after extra time it was still 1 - 1 so they have to go through it all again. He is 15 today so I'm off to his party tonight. We walked there and back (2 hours) so that's my exercise for today going to relax now til the party.

I love that mime artist Robi I watched it last night and he had me in stitches.

Remember that old relation of mine that died recently (90) I put a photo on of him climbing up the ladder to get us apples. Well yesterday me and my sister spent the afternoon and evening with 3 of our cousins looking through stuff at his house Mainly photos. Then later we all went for a meal at a pub called the Jonty Farmer near where he lives. We had a really good chat cos we don't see each other very often.

We have loively sun shine here I hope wherever you are it is the same. I think it always helps to make you feel better.
Have a good afternoon and night
see yer later 'gater(s) x
24 buttons Neti, you are not a mum, you are a saint..good day today, put the dogs in the car and went shopping..it made Rab rest and they enjoy barking at the cyclists

Morning all, brigt and sunny here. quaite nice.

Have just been to a big "mercadillo" (boot sale is the nearest translation) and got another pair of sunglasses (I bought one pair yesterday) but not much else there!

Tried to park in village for a coffee but place is heaving as it's still fiesta time. Finally parked illegally at the back and nipped into a cafe for a coffee and nipped out again.
Howdy Biddy Bones. Nice, sunny days here. I had to let Zingo out last night, he was going insane. He returned looking something like this http://www.expressen....logar-sig-fram-i-snon ...ha ha no but I did, having ploughed through the snow on the balcony floor to look over the [parapet?] to make sure he hadn't sunk like a stone. (The newspaper item is about a poodle who loves snow, if you hadn't guessed.) Woofy and Robi loved your Simon's Cats, such typical cat behaviour. Glad Rab's better, Woofy. Zingo says a trat ;-) in a screwed up piece of paper is a very foreign concept indeed;-) Maybe I should get him some paper CARRIER bags instead, that's what I (at first) thought you were talking about Woofy cos I remembered how my childhood Siamese cats used to play in those.

Downton Abbey has started here, first episode yesterday. Been a long time since I enjoyed anything on television that much and it was sheer luck that I stumbled upon it, I hardly ever turn the teve on. How many episodes are there, I'm afraid to google for it as I don't want to come across any spoilers.

Okay I'm outta here before Neti puts her 7 feet up (typo, Neti;-) and Lottie starts with her drunken songs;-)
a'noon all...just shuffling through, I'm doing a bit of this and that, here and there, now and again

Kit there are 7 episodes of Downton and a new series will be shown in the autumn this year

Had a lovely day, Mr N took me to some sheer cliffs to see a wooden bench (no a normal wooden bench, this one took the shape of the bark) which is a memorial to a late dear friend, and is only 2 ft away from cliff edge, freaked me out! then stumbled to the other side of the sheer cliffs to see another different shaped bench, another memorial to a friend who hanged himself. It was so sheer and steep, my head wobbled, and I could not stay for long. Nice though. Then out for paella, and now tucked up in bed, stuffed and tired!

BTW, my brown streaked hair is a lot darker than I wanted but strangely it's very nice, sort of a mink colour, really nice, I love it.
hello all persisting down here. Rab improving but forgot he was on a lead last night when i took him out in the garden. he tried to charge off after a pigeon, put full weight on the injured shoulder and yelled. two steps back so probably no walk tomorrow either.
Hi am biddies. We went out to a pub we hadn't tried before for Sunday lunch in a village not too far away and it was the most delicious Sunday Lunch I had ever had in all my life. We are both still stuffed and have been lazing in front of the woodburner since we came home!!

Am now catching up! See you shortly.
Ooo lazing in front of the wood burner...sounds divine. We ha d wonderful roast beef for dinner and watched a Poirot. DH still has a wheezy chest but is ok, Rab got upstairs on his own tonight...I might get some kip tonight. Night all sleep well everyone.....
Thanks Robi for Downton info. Lots to look forward to, then! Pretty rose avatar:) Now where shall I sleep tonight, in my bedroom or on the sofa... Somebody in the room over my bedroom seems to have turned their room into a bowling alley and for a bowling ball they are obviously using a mustard ball or whatchamacallit. Know the kind? When you make your own mustard? We had one that was as heavy as a minor cannon ball when I grew up. I think them upstairs must have found it at some flea market and bought it.They don't bowl (?!) in the middle of the night but earlyish in the morning. The sofa is actually not bad...

Good news about Rab, Woofy:) Neti not sure I'm getting it right but if I am, a bench for a memorial sounds peaceful and meditative. Beautiful.

Oh no tonight's performance of drunken songs will be with Lottie AND her husband http://i56.tinypic.com/4xo1.jpg

Good day to you all.

Wet here, just as I had all hija's bedding hanging out overnight!!

Yes swedie, the benches are in memory of dead friends. A good idea, except the first one which is only two ft away from the steep cliff edge, I sat quickly as a mark of respect but was terrified that the bench and I would roll off the edge, and then walking back I was scared that I would slip on the myriad of small pebbles and go over. It is a silly place to put it, and only friends know where it is, one wouldn't just happen upon it!

My 8 month old phone is now playing up, as it won't send text messages and I use it a lot, luckily I'm getting a new one this week!!!

Hija should arrive back this afternoon, but I think her friend's mother is picking her up, so I can stay at home!
Good morning...Happy Valentine's Day.

Hope you're all well...<snuffle>..ooh, booger, I wish this cold would dry up, it's getting on my nerves now.
I was going to pop in for a rant last night but you were all peacefully lolling in front of log fires. It had been the quitest day since xmas, not a builder in sight...and then at 10pm the neighbour rang, aaagghhh! She's back in hospital as predicted & she launched into a rambling about this mrsa business...again! How do I convince her it DOES exist & if they're treating her for it then she must have it?!.. <bangs head>...I'm going to give her all your names and numbers & tell her you're the international information bureau...good luck. :o)
Don't you dare Robinia!!

I meant to come back last night, but had to get back to the log fire. It was cold in these here room. I perhaps need a laptop, but I don't really want one!!

Lovely sunny day and I am just about to hang the washing out and then take Meggie and go and visit son who is fitting a carpet and having a couple of days off.

I really did eat too much yesterday lunchtime!! But it was so perfect.

Must go now - have to open all my valentine cards and that will take.........................................
