I try and do different meals each night but I have come to realise I eat alot of chicken, whether it be chicken burgers, bbq chicken, chicken chaseur, or chicken in breadcrumbs lol. So anyone got any nice simple meals to share with us all, that arent too expensive and that dont need loads of ingredients? Oh and no cheese

thanks red

get some frying steak, v thinly slice it and marinage with oyster sauce and a bit of soy - ginger/garlic if you like, i leave it for as long as poss but at least half hour
stir fry really quick then add veggies of your choice (for me pak choi and baby corn)
serve with rice or noodles

get a pack of mince, onion, garlic, sweetcorn and kindey beans (optional) chop ionion and garlic and fry till soft then add mince and dry fry - drain of fat, then add some stock and simmer until the liquid is reduced to a v thick gravy.
warm some pitta's and stuff mince inside - i would have cheese on the but sour cream is good to

you can also slice pots parboil them and put the mince into an oven dish layer the pots over the top and bake for a sort of take on cottage pie
Try Raclette - Swiss Traditional - I bought Luxury one here:http://manetia.co.uk with Recipes for beginers. Fantastic!
Have a fantastic fish pie recipe. Gently poach or bake some white fish until just cooked (add some salmon too if you want to make it a bit classy). Make a plain white sauce using some milk and some of the 'juice' from the fish. Combine flaked fish, chopped hardboiled eggs, a couple capers (which I don't like so I use a couple of chopped gherkins) and some cooked prawns. Whack into a greased baking dish, top with mashed potato and bake for about 30 mins at 400 degrees Gas mark 6 or 200 degs C. You can make it more exotic with scallops, monkfish or anything you like but plain old cod is just fine too. My family can't get enough of it!!
