My mums booked a table at a pub for fathers day. It would be rude if he paid but she wants me to because he's my father! Normally we go out with my brother who pays but he's on holiday.
Knowing her she will pay, but with money from my savings account which she has access to. By the way, I know this is the wrong section but she will have to give me that savings account which is in my name, when i'm 18 wouldn't she? if it was 16, i'd have it by now.
Garmard, this year I have got my dad a book of 1001 beers to drink before you die, and probably a box of maltesers as is the tradition with him! Always used to get him maltesers!
Garmard, he always gets taken out by my brother or my other brother if he's come over to stay, but the one from round here is on holiday and the other one is in Azerbijan or somewhere, working. i normaly get him some chocolate or something, the only things he reads are; tv guide, emails, the screwfix magazine and the corgi gas manual.
Book a meal at a fancy restaurant for his birthday (when it comes round) and then tell your Mum that you've done it for her so she has to pay and see how she likes it.
LOL Molly about your Dad's readng material. Both my menfolk love the Screwfix Catalogue. It is permanently out in our house and gives Mr LL hours of pleasure. Seriously weird in my opinion.
They tell me off, or what to do, but they never care how my day has been or how I'm feeling. And if I try starting a conversation they tell me to shut up as they're busy.
