I usually use digestive biscuits. You can get some called 'Oaties' which are also nice. Supermarket own brands are usually just as good - you're only going to bash them up and add butter to make a base - so don't pay through the nose for them!

i used hobnobs recently and whilst they did make a nice base, in my opinion it was no nicer than using own brand digestives or oaty biscuits.
