The stringly little sinews, one either side of the yolk, that prevent the yolk being damaged when the egg is knocked etc.

I got one caught between my teeth once. I now have to take them out.

Once you notice them you will have to remove them too :-)

No, you really don't. You can just roll your eyes and carry on frying your own egg while calling the other person an 'effing weirdo'... ;oP
Once you blend it into a glass of milk, you don't notice it any more.

Good grief...
Stop using the word 'yolk' as well... ;oP
Eggs are disgusting and only edible when bashed, solid and covered in Ketchup!!
Question Author

My grandmother insisted on giving everybody egg and milk whisked together if they were ill. If I wasn't ill it made me ill. I don't like milk or eggs and the texture is disgusting (nearly as bad as bananas!)
Eggy bananas :c)
i trying to resist clicking on that link i really don;t need anymore food issues
Lofty ...

When I go running, I quite often whisk up a glass of milk, with a banana and a raw egg.

And sometimes a spoonful of vanilla flavoured protein powder.
It's not that bad Fluffy, it's just an eggy umbilical cord really. My avatar is much worse and you're used to that now.
China, I am seriously going off you bigtime ;o).

I shall send you a photo of hole in leg!!

It is a picture of a mushroom swimming in jelly :-)
JJ THANKS!!!!

That would finish me off completely!!
ok that's not bad at all can deal with that, what are you making such a fuss over you big girls blouse?
Chacun à son goût !
I can't eat a fried or boiled egg if the white isn't completely set and I won't eat scrambled egg - although I do like a firm omelette.
Question Author
Let's not get personal now... and don't get me started on Corned Beef :-/
The white on a boiled egg has to be soft enough to mix it all in with the yolk before you eat it.
