TEFAL ACTIFRY

Has anyone got one of these and if so are they worth purchasing? Also what else can you cook in them apart from chips or roast potatoes, they sound to good to be true.
Looking forward to hearing some comments. Thanks a lot.

I have had one for a couple of years now and how I wish they had been around when my kids were little...no need to worry about chip pans catching fire.
I would not be without it now and by the way, the chips are much better than oven chips, and I cook lots of other stuff in there too as per recipe book and own inventions.
brilliant gadget!

We thought about getting one of these for ages. The main reason we held off for so long is the fact that we have a very small kitchen and the actifry is rather large.
However, we saw it on offer in Argos and took the plunge and bought one.
We are really glad we did.
So far we have cooked, chips (both fresh and oven), sausages, scampi, chicken drumsticks, potato wedges, chicken nuggets and I made a sausage and bean one pot dish.
All have been excellent. It takes a while to judge exactly how long things will take but that is the same with an oven.
We are extremely pleased with our Actifry and would recommend it.
