What is the best biscuit for coffee dunking?
Many years have passed since I drank my first cup of tea and I have only recently discovered the delights of dunking me biscuits in it. My favourite would have to be the ginger nut, by far. However, ginger nuts do not go terribly well with coffee, and the question I ask is this: "What is the best biscuit for coffee dunking?"

My preferred weapon of choice is the Rich Tea. It's what the biscuit was designed for. Don't go for the fingers - it's a convenience cop out for pensioners. The purist uses the round variety. I purchased a Jumbo mug specifically for the task of taking a whole biscuit at once.
Heed must be taken as mentioned in Rule 1 (the Golden Rule) by the Academy of Deep Dunking <!> Know your biscuit depending on width will depend on how long biscuits can be immersed. I have heard rumour that the Rich Tea is deemed to be useless for dunking due to its willingness to collapse so rapidly but this is why only the experienced can master the art. We have all sat, spoon in hand scooping out chunks of soggy mush from the bottom of lifes cup. But perseverance leads to mastery.
1. Immerse biscuit
2. Wait but only a matter of seconds-with practice comes knowledge.
3. Raise biscuit and in one smooth motion, allow a single drop back down to shake excess liquid.
4. On the returning upstroke, use gravitational forces to swing biscuit into an upright position and balance. (experts here can even give the biscuit a small wiggle to check level of absorption! But first we must walk before we run)
5. Devour biscuit and reach for another
I have met suicidal fools who have played games or Chicken as I have heard it referred, whereby two combatants hold a biscuit in place to see who dares stay immersed longest. As I say though, the dunking experience should be enjoyed and these so called games should be saved for thrill seekers ... Base jumpers adrenalin junkies and the like.
