Just cooked lambs liver with onions and gravy served with mash, long time since we had this dish have some uncooked liver left over can I freeze it! What other recipes availble for liver!

I would cook it then freeze it, rather than freezing it raw - cook it with some chopped bacon and onions, you will have a quick and easy dish when you next need it. Don't delay - liver goes off quickly if you leave it raw.
Yes you can freeze it. I like mine cut into strips, then flour,egg, breadcrumbs and fried.

I love liver and onions it's a favourite but we can't have it very often because MrAsk takes Warfarin. I don't know of any other way of cooking it as it tends to go hard when cooked for any length of time. It's nice with bacon and sausage though.

This is one I quite like.It is a Majorcan recipe.

Garlic Liver or Chicken (serves 2)


Ingredients
2 chicken breasts( cut into bite size pieces ) or 8oz lambs liver(bite size and floured),1 red pepper (chopped),6 oz mushrooms (sliced),1/2 red chilli (chopped),bunch spring onions (chopped),lots of garlic cloves (leave skin on),I use 18 .(sounds a lot but fine with skins on),olive oil, chips, frozen peas (cooked)
Method
Fry pepper, chilli, garlic, onion in oil. Then separately Fry liver or chicken .
Then fry mushrooms in a little butter
cook peas
cook chips (separately)
Toss everything together and enjoy
Add some gravy if required
