What foods can I have in my lunch for the next few days that are really soft and require minimal chewing?

My tooth has cracked and part is wobbly, so it's really hard to chew, without nocking it. And it'll be at least wednesday before I get an appointment. It's a baby tooth that the dentist has written to the hopsital about, whether to leave it in or not and had actually told us to make an appointment soon about it, but it turns out it's coming out anyway now.

Haha, i love you molly.

We all know how this will go don't we? There'll be 3 or 4 pages of suggestions, each one met with a "but I....." from you.

Long may you reign :-)

Hot Soup in a Flask molly ! No chewing involved.
Make a spanish omelette with eggs, potatoes, onions etc. - let it set then you can either have it hot or cold. Very easily eaten.

See post number one Helen.
Hi Molly

How about some sandwiches (on nice, soft bread) using Philadelphia cheese?

For suggestions, start here:

Use the 'Type of Dish' option, in the bottom area of the page, and select 'Sandwich, wraps & bagels'. Then click through the recipes in the main part of the display.

Our bread is rubbish though and chewy, let alone the crusts!

Why don't you just make a salad and some egg mayo to go on top?
Go to the shop then molly, and buy a nice processed white loaf, just for next week.

Molly, easier for us if you just tell us what you like, instead of making objections to our genuine suggestions, then we can tell you if there is a mushy equivalent. Redman's suggestion of soup is probably the most practical, then you have no risk of chewing on the cracked tooth,

Cos there's nowhere to put it and I prefer brown bread anyway.
Gee - keep it in a tupperware box in your bedroom, having nowhere to keep a loaf is astounding.
Fish or Meat paste spread. Basics at Sainsburys is 30p and tastes great.
Buy a brown loaf.
Ask permission from a grown-up to keep it in a lead-lined crock in your kitchen.
Heat soup (your choice of which one) and keep in flask.
Ring your cousin nix for advice and you and she seem to like similar food-stuffs..........
Okay, what about Tuna and Sweetcorn in Mayo with a side salad?
Pasta is soft. Rice is soft. Tuna and pasta goes in a lunch box. Rice with egg and ham goes in a lunch box. Stewed apple for dessert, or yoghurt. There are really loads of options.
