Can you actually get any really salty salted peanuts? I know salt is not good for you but surely if you are buying something that is salted you are aware that there is (supposedly) salt on them?
I've had some peanuts and cashew nuts recently and I thought that they weren't as salty as usual. It must be something to do with the 'elf rules nowadays.
Hi ummm - I don't put much salt in food when cooking and never put any on my actual food but sometimes I just fancy some salted nuts (much more of a sweets person).
NB, never give peanuts to a child under the age of 8 years old, because they often dont have the required amount of teeth to chew them. some cases of aspiration/choking have resulted in children dying,,rare i know but it does happen,
Hi Anne - not wanting to sound rude, but have got five kids and not managed to choke any of them on nuts or induce an allergic reaction, or poison them with honey, etc, etc (strange jump from salted peanuts to choking a child).
sherr,, just made it worse by saying you instead of young, at least you have havent made a ba^^s up of a thread, sorry to hear about the oh and the kids, off course your cold wont be as bad as anyone elses ?
Hi Anne - one of the little ones has glue ear and both his ear drums have burst so he is in a right state (bless him), nothing worse than earache and he can't tell us about it. With a bit of luck a couple of days in the warm will sort us all out and they can have a nice relaxing break playing on the various X boxes and watching (endless) episodes of Fireman Sam.
We have the routine off pat thanks - out of the five of them four have had glue ear (three really badly including him). The pain should ease now because it is better after they have burst - it is just the period leading up to them 'going', the others are old enough to tell me that their ears hurt but he is only 2 3/4 and can't talk for toffee.
