chefs with their food presentation

as above do they really have to fiddle with the food using their sweaty hands to make it look perfect?
it really puts me right off when they scoup an ice cream into their palm of their hands and then place it on the dish and fiddle it a bit more... urghhh.
salads...sprinkles some olive oil and mix it with their 'sweaty' hands ughhh.
i really cannot eat food when it is touched and fiddled with unless they are wearing gloves. (i rather not watch them make it infront of me)
i once saw a chef making pizza base tossing up in the air then catching it and place on his hairy forearm etc.. urghhh
is it just me being a fussy madam? my mate never thought it was a big deal until i mentioned about chefs with sweaty and hairy palms.... they now think twice lol

When I worked in a kitchen I used to "faff" with food as little as possible and would use utensils though would be washing and wiping my hands all the time. It wasn't exactly a high class restaurant though haha!
In fact, Naz, is the KHC on the front still there if you catch my drift?

Have you seen the 'original' deco KH? http://tinyurl.com/2ws3wvn
Wow, no way! I remember when I quit one of the junior chefs throwing stuffing balls at me down the road trying to get me to come back haha!
Sorry for chatting WhiteBears! I have seen all kinds of things done in my time, one place I worked at used to tell staff to "use up" the drip trays in the bar into further drinks so there wasn't any waste!!!

Whitebear, I thought I was the only one who's conscious of these unsanitary practises.
In a pizzeria I once saw a man flipping pizza, as he threw it up in the air his mouth opened and his false teeth fell out on the table on which he was working... He picked up the teeth, put it back in his mouth and continued making the pizza.
