I like loads of parmesan on meatballs or spaghetti bolognaise. Other than that, I'm not really a cheese fan.

A wedge of Roquefort, a crusty French loaf and a pint of dry Cider. I'll sit in the corner and GROWL at anyone that comes near me!

Thanks for replies, all. I'm away to bed .... geez, gotta be up in 5 hours. :o(

Night all. Sleep well and don't have nightmares after all that cheese! :o)
Yeah naz, she's a growler all right.
sleep well, mrs.chappie. It's more likely to be the monster munching that will get me.

I had a lasagne for tea .... lots of parmesan on it and I've still got heartburn. It's keeping me awake.

Night Arksided. You sleep well too (I expect I'll drop off when it's time to get up).
> You can ask questions about MR but Pinki gets told off for answering them...

ttfn???? <

ummmm - what are you asking me? I did not tell pinki off - I merely gave what I thought was a friendly observation.
My favourite cheese is Roquefort, surprisingly inexpensive considering the exclusive rights and manufacturing costs.

Do you like Roquefort ttfn?
I love all cheeses, other than parmesan, daoji !
He has some that have fallen off the back of a lorry if your interested ;-) ;-)
I'm with you on that ttfn, parmesan.. no.
Really, Arksided? Here's me thinking he worked for the Fromage Marketing Board ;o) Partmesan = smelly feet, imo, though Stilton = Ambrosia! Right, I am off to be for the second time tonight, still searching for the arms of Morpheus. Sweet dreams and ttfn (again) ;o)
I love cheese, any kind of cheese but my favourites are Extra Mature Chedder and a round of Camembert baked in the oven and used as a dip.
I love Gruyere and Goats' cheese. I'm rather partial to Manchego and anything French.
The medium mature creamy farmhouse cheddar my mother produces just for the family - sublime! My hubby is the cheese expert, he likes about 150!!
Brie, or anything soft like that. Not too much into "macho" cheeses like Roquefort etc.

Spare
Nice strong farmhouse cheddar and St Augur and White Stilton and Parmio Regiano (sp) and Gruyere and. .......... etc. etc.

Anything except Parmesan!!

I love, love, love cheese!!!!!!!
Goats cheese, especially the "Bouchon Cendre" or Pujol for a difference
Blue Cheese - Stilton, Roquefort, Gorgonzola Dolcelatte Fourme D'Ambert, and as its Paddy's Day, Cashel Blue.
Any good mature organic Cheddar - Vermont/Irish/whatever......
Good mature Brie, Camemberts or Vacherin.....

Basically anything half decent.....
Lofty you've got me confused now.

Parmigiano Reggiano is much the same as parmesan. Parmigiano Reggiano can only be made in a defined region and according to a specified method. Much of what is sold in the UK is Parmigiano Reggiano, having said that I believe the pre grated stuff is rarely PR and is definitely evil.
anything with cranberries in it, mozzarella, pecorino, cottage cheese with pineapple and dolcellata.
