Saered scallops with pancetta
Roast Duck breast with creamed leeks, green beans, herb potatoes and a red wine & red currant sauce
Lemon mousse with sable biscuits

How does this sound? Would it go? What changes would you make?

hopefully pink .... need to juggle cooking time accordingly ..... will that be Ok do you think?
It's how I'd cook it. Sounds delish :-)
That menu sounds gorgeous echokilo, all my faves together! Yum! :)
I'd probably put an extra course beween the scallops and duck

tomato and vodka sorbet would work as it is very fresh and light
as would a sour cherry soup
One too many flavours in the main course?

How about plainer potatoes, so you have a neutral base on which to showcase your duck?

And not sure about the leeks ... they can be a bit overpowering.

Sounds yummy, though.
Sounds wonderful echokilo but if I were to change it I would not use creamed leeks as they would contain milk/cream and to then pair it with a none creamy sauce like red wine and red currant.

What about just searing the leeks instead and keep the rw and rc sauce? Or if the 'creamed' leeks do not contain a milk substance it would work fine.
