we have a contenshus issue on our hands ..as Pooh would say ....brown is for vegetables, green is for salad ....

Right well Pooh and I have confurred and the answer is Brown, cos Virginia Woolf's sister is Vanessa Bell, and there's no room to put Vanessa so that has to be Bell and by process of going off and coming back with another answer, it';s Brown ( apologies to mamya)

Sorry for the confusion, but I was looking at an American web site, which states 'Green chopping boards are used for fresh fruits and vegetables'. Only realised afterwards when I saw the spelling 'color' instead of 'colour'.
