Was addicted to Def Jam: Fight for NY on the X-Box purely because for every fight you win you get money and then you can take your fighter-man shopping!!!
I wound up beating the hubby (by throwing Snoop out of a window obviously) and had the best wardrobe ever.
Everquest Online Adventures for ages... I've just bought Guitar Hero and am getting the shakes just thinking about it... might go home early today. Money Island 2 was very addictive too, and Hybris for the Amiga... back in the day *sigh*
Nat_84, did you get as addicted to The Sims as I did and start looking up free download sites so you could get new furniture, outfits and decor? It became an obsession with me!! The Sims2 has a package called 'Bodyshop' where you can create your own outfits. I've lots weeks on that package!
The Monkey Island Series, 1-4, the best fun and adventure games ever written. I still haven't finished number 4.
When you have to go to the swamp, fill a bucket with mud, return to the harbour, open a door slightly, balance the bucket on the door so it falls on someone who gets his shirt muddy and therefore has to visit the laundry so you can follow him and steal his cufflinks when he leaves them on the counter etc etc..... Brilliant.
I'm a total Lara Croft addict, as soon as a new one comes out i know i won't be getting any sleep till its complete.....which is a waste really cos i kick myself one its over, i should make it last.
ROFL @ Nat!! The Sims is crazily addictive!! Do you have a character who is based on you as well then? I do! She's called 'Chrissy Champagne' and she did start out with a romance aspiration until I realised she was becoming a little sla9!!!! So I created a new 'me'.
I became obsessed with bodshop a while back. Every time I saw a funky outfit in a fashion magazine I would cut it out and try to reincarnate it into my Sims game!!
I would be playing that game 24/7 if I hadn't phoned up the men in white coats and begged them to take me away....
Totally addicted to The Sims 2... fantastic 'game'... designing houses thrills me constantly... ooooh, the wallpaper, and the flooring, and where to put the lights.... LOVE it.
Also love Oblivion on the X-Box. Long dark nights become longer and darker and i get genuinely scared when a nasty comes along and hacks me to pieces...

Sims 1 currently (didn't like 2, so sold it on). Have been addicted to Monkey Island 1 and 2, Scrabble, Mordon's Quest, Manic Miner, Chuckie Egg (really old computer games)! My niece has Theme Hospital, so I might give that a go...
Sims2 isn't a girl thing! I used to play it far too much. I had a house with two pleasant young ladies living in it, so I made a "me" character and moved him in next door with very little cash, just for realism. Before I could buy an alarm, a thief broke in and stole nearly everything. I had to abandon him because I couldn't get him to stop crying and come in off the lawn! He's probably still there.
Recently though, it's Table Tennis and Battlefield 2 Modern Combat on the Xbox 360.
