Anybody else got one yet? I got mine last night and it is brilliant, even better than I had hoped.

The controller is really easy to use and even my wife was playing it (she never plays computer games.

I think Nintendo are on to a real winner.

My usual ploy of just turning up at Argos at opening time failed. It worked fine for my Gamecube and PSP.
Looks like the Wii has been considerably more popular than I anticipated.

Apparently Nintendo have not supplied shops with as many units as they were suposed to so the consoles have had to go to the pre-order crowd first.

If you've not preordered I think you'll be lucky to find one before Christmas.

I did order mine on 14th October so I might have been a bit peeved if I hadn't got one :)

There were problems in the shop as they didn't get any nunchuckers and as Llamatron says if you hadn't pre-ordered it's unlikely you will get one before christmas. There were stories of some being available but I'm sure they would have been snapped up.

we ordered ours on 15th September and we didn't get one, apparently we are definitely in the next delivery, which should be before xmas, however they very kindly sent us the pre-ordered games for us to drool over as we have no way of playing them :(

Sorry guys but this aint the console for me ! Ive never been a nintendo fan and i just think the controller is a gimmick very similar in its execution to the eye toy.

I pre ordered mine at the end of september, and picked it up on friday along with zelda and wii play, zelda so far is the best in the series :D

Hi. I work at woolworths and we got an email saying that a shipment of 65,000 wii is stuck in germany and we are not expected to get any in before xmas.
I have the unpleasant
job of telling unhappy customers.
Saying this,We was told a similar story when the playstation2 came out, but we did get them before xmas.
People that pre-ordered will be a priority, so my tip is to try to pre-order asap.Not at woolworths for the time being though. Try our rivals, ie Argos. Dont tell anyone I told you,haha.
