when you beat razor in the final race and then theres a cut-scene and the cops come, do you have to evade the cops?

It's been a while since I played this but I think you do.
You drive around and I think eventually an escape route is opened up which is a big jump that the cops can't make.

exactly.. ur memory's not so hazy at all.. It takes about 17,432 attempts to do though..
