on ps3 oblivion how do you join guilds and also i think there is a gladiator place where you can fight and bet on fights anyone know where?

On the PC version ( cant be that different) speaking to anyone in the guild you want to join will let you ask about the guild and they tell you who the nearest guild master is to ask for membership.
The Gladiator place is the Arena in the main town, it has its own district.

If you commit a murder, you might find you get a visit from a fellow soon after who will invite you into a certain guild that is more secretive than the others...
