how do you know what region a game is from by looking at the packaging?? it's to do with sims2

Look for the PAL logo on the box, if it has one then it is UK compatible.

The DVD region code doesn't apply for video games, as long as there is PAL on the box it will work with UK game consoles.

i have got canadian sims2 comptuter game and the problem was that once i used an english expansion pack and made the game go wrong so i had to uninstall the pack losing all my game saves!! i've been given an expansion pack as a present but i don't know what region it is!!
