xbox 360 display?
5 Answers
We just bought a 360 elite, and ar in the process of setting it up. How do i know what the correct display settings to use for my tv. There are 5 options,
Optimal Resolution
480p
720p
1080i
1080p
I have no idea, what the difference is. The tv we are using with the 360 is a PHILIPS 26PFL5522 26" HD Ready digital LCD TV. Any advice will be appreciated. thanks.

it is your 360's settings you need to change not the tv.as said above, plug in the standard tv lead and the options available should change to standard definition ie 50hz, 60 hz etc
select 60 hz and switch you 360 off.swap lead back to hdmi and turn back on and then select your hd settings.once done you dont need to do the 60hz thing again and it is rare that game will clash with this but as you are setting up anyway it would be wise to get it out of the way.
