DS Lite R4 appears to have been broken

My grandaughters friend pulled out the R4 when the DS was switched on. It was working before then but now she gets the message 'SD TS card error.' Other games still work ok. Is there anything she can do to get the R4 working again ?
Would really appreciate help as she is absolutely gutted.

Hi, was she using a pirated game, or using a back up of a game of hers? If 2, does the original game still work ? If 1, where did she get the game from?

The R4 came preloaded and there are lots of games on it so I assume the games were from an internet site. Her mum says that none of the games on it now work.

try maybe another R4, and if that one works better you will probably need a new R4!

if they are pirated games, she is lucky it didn't crash the whole ds. i guess she is going to ahve to buy the game she is gutted about losing. They are blooming expensive tho!

Why not try formatting the SD card and putting new copies of the games onto it?

Or try another SD card?

Failing that, I would probably say the R4 card is damaged.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try formatting the microchip and reloading the software and games onto the R4. Hoping this will work but if not then I guess she is lucky to still have a working DS.
