I've recieved a marriage certificate from the GRO for HARRY RAMSDEN who married Elsie Beaumont April 26th 1919. Harry was 23, a Boiler fixer living 3 Shirley St Saltaire father George Henry Ramsden a Club Steward (living)
Elsie was 24 a spinster occ weaver living 6 Park Street Saltaire father George William Beaumont a Carboniser (living)
they married at Shipley Parish Church, witnesses Harry and Annie Beaumont, I think I have Elsie Beaumont and her family on the 1901 but there are a few options for Harry Ramsden and his father G W RAMSDEN.
I do not have 1911 access just now, could someone check for the family please? Not sure if they will be in Saltaire in 1911 though.

Thanks.

I looked at that family on the 1901 and they looked right but then I discounted them for some reason, Emsley died in WW1 and his father was the admons for the estate they lived at Ackroydon Halifax in 1916.
Question Author
thanks for the look up craft it's probably correct. I maybe didn't take to the 1901 entry because of the occupations and location, but if that is the only 1911 with the right combo then it should be right
lol dotty don't you love these 'occupations'.................
