Help with marriage record please
I,m tearing my hair out over this, looking for the marriage of Thomas Lickes born in Sledmere, and Mary ? she was born in 1832. The marriage would probably have been in Driffield,@1849/1850 They are married on the 1851 census, their eldest child was born in 1852. The Lickes name in itself has thrown up all kinds of spelling and believe me ive tried them all!Any help would be much appreciated.I'm off to bed soon so apologies if I don't respond straight away. Thanks Polly

Find My Past have also mis-transcribed it as Liekes when it is quite easyily read as Lickes , even though it is in a contemporary hand.
