if you are asking if he received one, surely The Imperial War museum in London may be able to answer that or if not, then war records can now be downloaded, though there is usually a charge for doing so.

If nothing else he would of received The Defence Medal. A Green Orange and Black striped medal.Most civilians got them during WW2 if in a service of use to the nation. ARP, Police, AFS,Telephonists,Nurses,Ambulance personell etc etc.
He could well have received the Order of St John.
