There really isn't such a thing as 'indigenous people'. We all evolved from a small population in Eastern Africa only a few hundred thousand years in the past. These peoples began to diversify and disperse to other locations in the World about 200,000 years ago. The various movements are now being understood clearer by new methods of DNA analysis.
In short: we are all descended from 'black' people and you may be more linked to a black African that you are to your 'white' next-door neighbour.
