At the moment i am reading an interesting book about the battle of Trafalgar. It describes in detail how events were and how the battle unfolded. What event and why would you like to go back in time to witness ?.

I'd like to go to the Great Exhibition please, its just opening in the Crystal Palace, May 1851. What a wonderful opportunity to see things from all around the world and to marvel at the fabulous building.

At the Sydney Olympics I would like to watch the battle between Ben Ainslie and Robery Scheidt of Brazil that happened before they crossed the start line, Ainslie managed to delay Scheidt's start long enough to ensure he finished far enough down the fleet to give Ainslie the gold.

I find myself drawn to historical events where I know my family were present, I like to try and understand what they went through.

I'd like to see Trafalgar where a relative captained a ship.

But equally I'd settle for the execution of Mary Queen on Scots at Fotheringhay or the english in India in the early 1800s.

Yes, Gness, been to the Talbot many times. There is something quite special about Fotheringhay though - the church is absolutely magnificent. The village very pretty, the castle mound quite thought provoking and the Falcon quite hospitable!!
