Ww2 Mortgage Repayments.
My grandfather was called up in 1940 during WW2, he was paying a mortgage taken out in 1933.
Would servicemen and women have the mortgage deferred till after the war, or would the building society have a different option?

My uncle was single during the war and rented his house out so he easily paid his mortgage.
