I would love one like that - take me back to my youth.  Very comfortable-looking.

I prefer modern appliances and comfort and wouldn't like to live in a house like this now. I like my labour saving devices and contemporary, comfortable, furniture.

Back in those days most women took a lot of pride in keeping their houses clean. Dusting,sweeping and keeping the outside of the house clean was a daily routine.
