A touchy subject
I may get absolutely slated for this but here goes....
The other night I watched a downloaded video of the 'conspiracy' of the 911 'terror attacks'. It was called The Power Hour and investigated exactly what happened. Apparently it was shown on TV once then never to be seen again.
After watching this I am COMPLETELY convinced that the attacks were little more than a setup and that they were self inflicted. For more info go on letsroll911.org
What's everyone's thoughts?

I cannot however, subscribe to the view that any Americans knew what was going to happen in advance. I'm a cynical person when it comes to authority figures, but not to the extent necessary to believe this particular story.
I would like to know exactly why the Air Force did not launch interceptors when the airliners drifted off course. They did not require authority to do this, as apparently, it was a standing order that they should do so in the given circumstances of 9/11.
Beyond that, I think we're drifting into Fox Mulder territory and I was always far more enamoured of Dana Scully.
i think drusilla has got it spot on.the incompetence of the supposed great CIA and other agencies leading up to the event has lead to them being less than honest with the truth which encourages said theory.have to keep open mind as if tv media want to portray something they believe in,they will do it as fact when we all know how minipulating they can be.
I agree there are some questions left unanswered and not answered truthfully in this incident - but that's politics isn't it.
Bear in mind though that politicians and presidents can (well, "should") only act on the interests of people/subjects, but if you have information that should never be common knowledge, or simply do not want to tell the hoi polloi - then how do you set out achieving your aim? My theory is...
1. Concoct a dangerous situation such as a threat to your own nation
2. Create a climate of fear in your people
3. Once fear is widely established, then you gain the support of the people to gain their "vote" on what you want to achieve (which would have been unthinkable without the support of the people)
It sounds crazy but it's simple manipulation. It can be introduced to so many scenarios of conspiracy. Or maybe I'm just a Fox Mulder fan...
CORRUPTION MONEY POWER, that is the only words I can think of about the 'Evangelical' American Government!! I truly believe after watching many of the films that the question mentions, that it was either planned and executed by them and blamed on the muslim fundamentalists or it was a known attack that was allowed to happen because it suited Gearoge Bush at a time when he need his votes. He is a brilliant manipulater. Bin Laden must have thoght he struck gold when Bush blamed him, as he was able to step into the limelight as the 'leader of Alqaeda'. If this organisation actually exists where is the proof other than one guy(with connections to US best buddies, the House of Saud, lets not open that can of worms). Alqaeda is a neat label for the world to pin all its problems and the poor muslims who have nothing to do with it seem to get the comebacks. All to convienient for me, read the encyclopedia of conspiracy theories by Thom Burnett, for the facts not the medias drivel
